Calling all members to sign up for our next big community and church volunteer day on Saturday, March 28th.  We have two service opportunities!

The first opportunity is volunteering at a mobile Montgomery County Food Pantry at Woodforest Stadium.  We will leave church at 8:00am to go to Woodforest Stadium to pass out bags of groceries to pantry clients.  Because we will be working around semi-trucks and moving vehicles, the food bank has stated that all volunteers must be over the age of 7 and all volunteers between the ages of 7-18 must be accompanied by an adult.  We will be passing out and bagging food from 8:30-1:30.  We need between 30-40 volunteers for this ministry.  This is a great way to actually see the people that you are helping.  This is a special opportunity for Tree of Life!!!  Please sign up in the narthex or online.  

The second opportunity for service will be spreading mulch in the playground.  All people between the ages of 0-99 can help carry buckets and spread mulch.  We need both youth and adult volunteers.  Right now the lining under the mulch is exposed in some areas, so it is time to put a nice thick layer under the playset in order to protect the youth from injury when they play.  This ministry will start at 8:30 and continue until the mulch pile is empty (we estimate an hour to an hour and a half depending on the number of volunteers.).  Please sign up in the narthex or online if this ministry is for you!
