In addition to our regular Sunday worship services, we are holding midweek Lenten Worship services with Holden Evening Prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Tree of Life will also hold worship services for Maundy Thursday (April 14, 6:30 pm) and Good Friday (April 15, 6:30 pm). All of these special Lenten services are available via Livestream for those who are not able to join us in person.
Throughout the Lent season, we will collect small and travel-size toiletry items on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul. Please bring any unused, unopened toiletry items you wish to donate any time during Lent. You may place your donations in the basket in the Narthex. Suggested items include deodorant, disposable razors, lotion, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes (with covers or cases), toothpaste, chapstick, hand sanitizer, and sunscreen. Contact Diana at Care@TreeChurch.net with any questions!
If you're not yet a member of our church but would like to be - we'd love to have you join our Tree family! We plan to receive new members during the 10:30 service on Sunday, April 3. Just let us know you are ready to become a member of our congregation (either send an email to Welcome@TreeChurch.net or complete and turn in one of the "Action" cards you'll find in the pews) and then come to a "new member class" at 9:15 am that morning.
The nursery is now open for children up to age 4 during both Sunday morning worship services. The nursery is in the Education Building. Visitors, if you need help locating the nursery, just let someone know. We're all happy to help!
On Ash Wednesday (March 2), from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Tree of Life will host "Ashes to Go." All are invited to come by the church during those hours to receive ashes.
Tree of Life will begin Wednesday Lenten Worship services on March 2 at 6:30 pm with a traditional Ash Wednesday worship service. The services held on the remaining Wednesdays (March 9 - April 6, 6:30 pm) will be worship with Holden Evening Prayer.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Tree of Life, we would love to have you!
We are planning a "new member class" for Sunday, Feb. 6 at 9:15 am. Come meet with Pastor Chris and learn a little bit about Tree of Life, and then, if you're ready - we'll bring you on as members during the 10:30 service! If this sounds good to you, let us know; either tell us when you're here one Sunday morning or send an email to Welcome@TreeChurch.net!
Ash Wednesday, which falls on March 2 this year, marks the beginning of Lent. We are bringing back "Ashes to Go" from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on Ash Wednesday. All are invited to come by the church during those hours to receive ashes.
Please note: in order to do this service for Tree of Life and the community, we are in need of volunteers! Please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex or email Jill at OfficeMail@TreeChurch.net.
The Congregational Annual Meeting for 2021 will be held on Sunday morning (January 16) in the sanctuary at 9:15 am.
